Often we break a project into separately contracted phases: a first phase to conduct research and develop a communications plan and a second phase for build-out. If that suits your purposes, we would be happy to approach the work in that way. We will make sure to give you ballpark estimates for the second phase of work at the outset to avoid sticker-shock down the road. On the other hand, if you know the scope and number of web and print project you want at the outset, we are happy to prepare a single comprehensive proposal.

At the conclusion of the research phase, we produce marketing recommendations that normally include a brand/positioning strategy and communications plan.
Following agreement on the brand strategy and communications plan, we move onto developing whatever creative projects you have requested, be it a new graphic identity, print program or website. There is full coordination during creative implementation so, for example, photography is commissioned for use both in print and on the web, and the logo is optimized for use on all platforms.

If the project has an admissions component, we will ask you to assemble a group of newly admitted students for a focus group, during which we will assess the effectiveness of the campaign. In every case, we want to define metrics for success at the beginning of the project and gauge our efforts against those metrics at the end.
